Letting the book fly

There is something both exhilarating and terrifying about this moment. After months of writing, re-writing, and questioning every word, my first book is no longer only mine. It has taken its first steps out into the world and is now in the hands of a small circle of readers — people who live and work within the field of sustainability.

It feels a little like watching a bird leave the nest. I know it must happen, and I know it is the only way the book will grow into what it is meant to be.

Yet there is still that ache in the chest, the uncertainty:

Will it resonate?

Will it carry its own weight?

Soon, it will stand on its own. And when it does, my hope is that it will spark reflection, conversation, and perhaps even small shifts in how we think about life and the choices we face together.
